Psalm 91

Over the past few days and weeks I have seen God do some tremendous things. Stuff that before, if I weren't in right standing, I would have never seen. Like for instance, when my boss came to me one day and told me that I was lucky to be where I am at in my job. She told me she couldn't tell me everything but I was just lucky. One of my co-workers took it as I was lucky to even have a job, but that isn't how my boss meant it. God is always an on time God. When He does things we sometimes wonder why me and why now. Since He is God, He is all knowing. I found out the meaning to my being "lucky" a week later. There were changes that were being made that would probably have people without a job or staying stuck where they would be under some terrible management. I considered myself not "lucky" but blessed. God has always been that way to me. When I look back over my life to see where I came from and where I am now, I can truly say that the hand of God has been there. So many times I could have been dead but God said not so. Just the other day on the radio, psalm 91 by Sonic Flood came on. It's an awesome song about how God is so many things to us. In the psalm it talks about how God is a refuge or safe place and how He will protect us from evil. That our eyes will behold all these evil things happening around us but it won't come near us. I thank God for spiritual eyes and ears because without them, we would surely miss all the things He has been trying to show us and tell us. As it says in the last bit of the song, "The hand that heals the sick has my name written on it." Thank God for that.
